Ready for the first step to parenthood??

I don’t remember who said this, but there really are places in the heart you don’t even know exist until you love a child.

That first moment I laid eyes on my perfectly beautiful little angel daughter, I knew this would be a love no one in the world could ever replace. It's a love that you can't even receive from your partner.

It's filed with emotion and being scared shitless and knowing that what you have dreamed of for so, so long, is now finally in your life, with their little tiny baby bottoms in the palm of your hands and their ear piercing screams of their first breaths consume your entire being, and you wonder how on earth you ever lived without them - and that's just the first minute!

Although, myself never going through the pregnancy, watching my child grow inside a belly and listening to the gurgling from inside with my ear pressed up against the hard as a rock tummy, pregnancy and motherhood are the most beautiful and significantly life-altering events that I have ever experienced. .No matter how much time you spend reading books, googling or following your intuition, you’re gonna screw it up. Fifty times. You can’t do parenting right. But that's just it, we're all winging it!

No one is ever quite ready; everyone is always caught off guard. Parenthood chooses you. And you open your eyes, look at what you’ve got, say “Oh, my gosh,” and recognise that of all the decisions and waiting and longing there ever were, this is the one you should not give up on. It’s not a question of choice.

Chase your dreams. Do what you gotta do, to make your family dream come true.

I guarantee, you will never ever regret it.

(okay maybe when your so sleep deprived and can't think straight but that's all part of the journey!)
